OREO cookie balls. They're totally a thing.
Call them OREO cookie balls, call them OREO truffles, call them OREO orbs of deliciousness. Call them what you want....just make them. These babies could not be simpler. The basic recipe is OREO cookies mixed with cream cheese and dipped in chocolate.
From there, you can get creative (really cute ideas on this site). Make them festive for the holidays...
...or change up the ingredients a bit. For these, I used chocolate creme OREOS and added espresso powder and Kahlua. The filling was so good, I almost ate it all before rolling and dipping them.
The tops are sprinkled with just a bit of gold disco dust...you know, to be fancy for the holidays. Each one is topped with a chocolate-covered coffee bean.
